Happiness is not a destination---------

The other day I was thinking of how to be happy. Every other day , we think of or  dreamt of being happy oneday. But we rarely take out some time out of our busy schedule to think what are the things that will make us Happy. Even if we are not happy with our current job, or whatever we are doing to make our living we keep on telling to our self that we be happy one day. But the reality is we will not reach the so called state of happiness if we can't figure out what makes us happy.....  



Happiness can't be attained with materials or the big house or the car that we dreamt off. Happiness is a state of mind that we need to create with in our mind. If we closely observe our thought process everyday, we will find that our mind is highly influenced by the environment, where we live. If someone says good things about  our-self we feel good for the day...or other day if someone says bad things or not properly behaved with us, we feel unhappy for the whole day. First and foremost basic area where we need to keep a close observation is of our thoughts. If we learn the art of consciously observing our thoughts we can regulate and keep our mind out of the negative thoughts. Whenever we feel angry or unhappy we need to ask our-self does really this things matter to me, or is it so important that we can't ignore it. Once we attain this habit of controlling our thought process, we will win half of the race....  to be continued...
